Check engine after exhaust installation

I got a "Check Engine" light after completing my down pipe installation. I have a '01 EX (auto) with a couple of performance mods:
AEM short ram
APC 4-2-1 header
Jet ChiP ECU
Hayame muffler
2.25" down pipe
Universal high flow Cat converter

The light first came on after only 10 minutes of driving. I raced my girl friend and the light came on after I floor the gas. I have disconnected the battery cables and pulled the ECU fuse, then let idle for 5 minutes. This helped, but now the light comes on after about an hour of driving. Any suggestions?

Yeah, you need an O2 simulator. I had the same problem. You can get one here at the following link.

Before you bust out for an O2 sim, make sure your gasket is seated properly between the manifold or header and the down pipe. If there is any leak at all you light will come on.

Thanks for the site. It's a good site to find parts. I have been shopping at modacar.com. You might want to take a look.

The jet chip was a pretty exciting addition. It helps your engine rev up quicker and increases your torque. On my 2001 model, they didn't have any diagrams so it took a bit of searching to find my ECU. It's behind the glove box and not under to passenger side carpeting. After purchasing the kit, you waiting for the "kit" to come in. Pretty much it's a box with a sheet asking about the mods to your car. Remove your ECU, wrap it up and overnight it to the company. They were great about sending it back overnight. So, you'll be out of some wheels for a total of 3 days. It cost me about $300. I think AEM aslo makes a racing chip.
