I also need help on the 2 second deal. My 2008 civic 1.8 has 208,000 on it, a couple weeks ago steering wheel locks, key won’t come or turn and we 50 miles from home. Well to make it short a preacher ask if we needed help, he knew someone that can help. Great, he does by taking the anti- theft collar off. About a hour goes by he gets the car cranking and it actually running!!!!!!!! We come home, the car cranks great but runs about 2 seconds. Ok with over 200,000 on it don’t want NO anti theft . He removed the whole control unit ( imobilizer unit I guess ) anyway can the car run again with out that junk. The only part left is the end of the key mechanism. It’s white and round and the will go in about 3/8 inch but cranks great.k

Needs the immobilizer to run. Take it back to the hack that removed it
