2015 LX Clunk When Pressing Accelerator
2015 LX Clunk When Pressing Accelerator
Greetings All,
When coasting, mainly at slow speeds, and then depressing the accelerator, there often is a very brief clunk or kind of scraping sound that lasts less than a second. It comes from the engine bay area. What could this be?

mounts
or loose exhaust shield.
or any of the hundreds of components under the hood. Who knows, each car have lived a different life, you will need to start prodding around
a clunking noise I had in the past was a coke bottle under the rear seat

Re: 2015 LX Clunk When Pressing Accelerator
This may be a hard question to answer, but do you know what side of the engine bay does it sound like it's coming from? And, if it's one side or another, is it seemingly more wheel well or actual engine bay?
That, and a clunk can be very different from a scrape. Is there a chance it's more of a belt squeal?
