Car runs for a little while, sounds like sputtering and almost stall out while drivin
So this has happened a few times now. I have a 2002 Honda Civic ex coupe 5 speed manual. After warming up and getting ready to go civic is fine. After driving for a little while the car will make a missfire or sputter noise and will slowly stall out and miss acceleration. Idk if this has anything to do with it but I also noticed the car has been running very hot, almost to the H even at idle sometimes. Someone please give me answers because I have no clue where to start besides fuel injectors.

If its running hot i would start with the cooling system. Not with fuel injectors. Check engine light on? Does it work?

Yes it works it runs beautifully until it makes a sputter/missfire noise and misses acceleration and stalls out. the only code is the 2nd o2 sensor but that’s bc it’s straight piped

From a cold engine (ex: parked overnight) start how long does it take for the temp gauge to read above over the halfway (between cold and hot) mark?
Reasons for hot engine:
Closed thermostat
Low coolant/coolant leakClogged radiator
Blown head gasket causing internal leak in cylinder(s)
Falling or failed water pump
