High rpm transmission problem

Hello, so i have a problem at high rpms (6-9k rpm) with changing gears. When i want to change gear at high rpms gearbox makes that sound "krrr". At low rpms it works great. B16A2 gearbox. Any help is welcome. Thanks

Re: High rpm transmission problem

Is this with every gear or only low gears?

1-2 and 2-3 are fairly common because the gearing is low and it takes a lot of effort for the synchros to mesh, which is why they grind and eventually wear out.

If it’s in all gears, you probably need to change your fluid.

Re: High rpm transmission problem

Its only happening 2-3 and 3-4, yea i thought oil could be the problem too so i changed it a weak ago, oil looked good, clean, no metal inside the oil but its still the same. Friend told me the clutch might be the problem but it feels fine to me idk.
If the gears are woren out what can i do about it?

especially for 2-3, try this:
  1. push out of 2nd
  2. release the lever
  3. let lever go back to center by itself
  4. push lever to 3rd
