Can i swap

I need to know if a 98 accord 4 cylinder vtec engine will go into a 2001 civic. And what is needed if anything.

Alternatively, how deep are your pockets? It's not gonna be a cheap swap since everything to make it fit would have to be custom. That is, of course, you weld really well.

Also check with local laws. Swap may not be legal (rule of thumb: older engine in newer chassis is a no-go)

A grinder and paint make me the welder I ain't!

If you do pull it off document it cause it will be one of a kind. Best to put in another D17 or a K series if you are feeling froggy.
