Swap?

What else is available to swap with the new Civic's? I know the K series are..but what else? Is there any other engines? I'm considering a major swap to my car but not sure yet.

technically you can swap ANYTHING you want. It just depends on how much $$$ you have.

Also, if you swap an older engine into your car it is illegal. You can only swap an engine of the same year or newer into your car.

The only other swap that I have seen done other than a K20 swap is someone swapped a 2001 ITR engine into their 2001 civic. That is the only other engine that I know of that has been done. The only reason they were able to do that was because the Integra was the same year.

The k20 and the head or block cant remember off of a CRV to make the k24 looks ugly but good power and torque.

I just got back from SEMA this morning. When i was there i saw a 2002 Focus with a 2003 SVT cobra engine in it. The damn thing looked like it was made for the focus. And the guys who did it told us tat the engine actually fit in the engine bay of the focus better than the cobra.

The funny thing was the engine wasnt stock either. it was putting down close to 600 whp. This car looked completely stock on the outside... it had 1 small sticker and a set of 16" rims. But it did have some 295's on the back
