i have a possibly dumb question... did you look at the back side of the bearing shell? every bearing i've ever seen has numbers printed on the back.

The important thins are the micro grooves which as still visible, lack of gouges, and no color change.

One few times I actually worry about putting clean gloves on, you don’t want anything between the bearing and the rod.

Also highly suggest leaving the spark plugs out, pulling the ECU fuse and cranking over in 30 sec bursts till your pressure light goes off and then one more burst for insurance.
