Alternator fuse#4 keeps popping
hey every I have a 2005 Honda Civic 5 speed. My alternator fuse keeps popping after a few minutes of car running thus causing the alternator to stop working and my battery dies shortly after any idea what could be causing this ive replaced alt and battery just to be on the safe side and no change what can I do to fix this

Disconnect plug from alternator. Run engine. Does fuse still blow?
If you have a wiring diagram you would see the ALT fuse #4 covers far more than just the alternator:
AF heater relay
O2 heater
ELD
Cruise switch, actuator, and control unit
VSS
EVAP PURGE, CVS, and BP solenoids
*This is not a shopping list of parts to replace.
This is a list of things to inspect and test.
Don't ignore the wiring.
If you have a wiring diagram you would see the ALT fuse #4 covers far more than just the alternator:

O2 heater
ELD
Cruise switch, actuator, and control unit
VSS
