Trunk brake Light Out?
I have a 2004 Honda Civic EX. My right trunk brake light is out,and I read int he book that you turn the socket a 1/4 turn counterclockwise, and change the bulb, replace the socket. I've changed the tail light bulb, but never a trunk light bulb. I know I can do this, but the socket isn't turning for me. Is this something I can change myself?
I'm soon to go out of town with my job, and this came up. I didn't want to spend $200 to change my trunk light, when I'm sure I can do it myself. Thanks!

Re: Trunk brake Light Out?
Ezone is right pliers for sure.. Had the same problem with a side marker on the tail light cluster; could not get it for the life of me. Pull that lining out of your way and get a set of pliers not needle nose ones and make sure you don't squeeze hard or you will be replacing the socket as well. If you need a rag or even those rubber grips for opening metal tops on glass jars; something to wrap around the plastic to give yourself more grip can help.
