Key fob screw

thanks to Honda putting loctite on the key fob screw, I destroyed the philips head on one of my keys attempting to change the battery.

Has this happened to anybody else, and can I get an easy out or screw extractor this small ?

Re: Key fob screw

When I read about these I took mine both out and applied some lube. one was tight. I also read that the screw was available as a replacement item but never saw a part # posted so maybe call your parts dept and ask them about the screw.

As far as getting the screw out...? Is there anything left of slots to try again ?? Different size or better phillips work ??
