Back from Iraq time for swap
this is the plan. 12.5:1 compression pistons in k20a with 92mm stroke and lightweight Pro rods from Brian Crower, stock bore (86mm), stage 2 n/a Brian Crower camshafts with steel dual springs/retainers, Brian Crower valve seats/guides/keepers, Competition Clutch stage 2 carbon/kevlar clutch and light flywheel, Strup 4-1 header, Megan Racing downpipe and ASP 2.5 inch piping, TWM 52mm ITB’s, Moshimoto fan and Koyo Radiator, k20tuned Electric Water Pump block off conversion, Si Electric power steering conversion, Hybrid Racing thermostat/heater hose kit/radiator hose insert, Buddy Club cam gears, D series Alterstart HO alternator, Hybrid Racing chain tensioner/clutch cables/throttle cable/wire harness, ARP headstuds, Samco hoses/belts, Hasport mounts, karcepts tensioner.
well the first part is done. I put in eps from an ep3. swapped the k20a for the old d17a2 and now just got to fix the idle and finish the exhaust thanks to advancedstreetperformance.com for the cat back piping.

after this i'm going to dyno for a baseline then i'm building the final power haha.

thanks. it's 03 PT Cruiser electric blue. its got 5 coats of clear with 2 base under that is 3 primer. alot of primer due to sanding and fixing the stupid lines left from the sand blasting. started the headlight harness tuck and fuse box relocation today. got an idea of how to start it. put in sunroof, eps and subframe yesterday.
Re: Back from Iraq time for swap
the fuse box is going in the wiper cowl passenger side. where the cabin filter inlet is supposed to be. i pulled the a/c, blower and heater out already. the headlight wires go through the sunroof outlet behind the fender. did the passenger side today. when i finish the driver i will post pics.

I would have gone with the stock Corolla S blue, but hey, whatever floats your boat

i thought about that color and a kia color. but the electric blue matching all the anodized blue from the motor better, i also got blue vinyl die and the carpet i bought.
Re: Back from Iraq time for swap
damn daily car took a dump on me this week. starter and battery both died (integra). so block wont get paid for until next week or so. stand still til then, put braided brakes on and ran wire for fuel pressure gauge. tomorrow might start on water/meth injection mount and dynamat trunk.
Re: Back from Iraq time for swap
here is driver side tuck loomed up. passenger tomorrow i hope. i also wired up the water/meth injection kit and fuel pressure gauge.
Ya i can still make some progress as i have most of the parts but need money for minor things. like new door seals and prop valve.

What prop valve are you going to be using?
