Lacking Low End

98 ex auto

Since i had my oil changed last ive noticed a signifigant drop in power below the 3000rpm range. Its like it almost bogs till its gets up to 3k and then it takes off almost like turbo lag (but i don't have a turbo and its just normal power) I checked the oil on th dip stick and it does appear to be over filled slightly by maybe an eigth quart (dumbassses)

Could too much oil be bogging it down? or should i be looking at new plug wires and such instead? the wires appear stock but the plugs were just replaced last fall. Also im fairly certain i have a weak alternator, so could this be another issue?

Re: Lacking Low End

Check your transmission fluid. Maybe your oil changing Einsteins messed with it.
