Car Higher in Front than Rear

I have dropped my car. Me and a buddy did it. It has been about a month now. I have a slight problem and that is that my front sits higher than the rear. I have 2' springs all the way around as well. The only thing that i can think of is that we cut the bump stops in the back, and thats the only thing that I cant think of that would have made the back lower than the front. Please get back to me on this, with any suggestions thanks.

after reading your sig. i see that you have a system, and you evidently have a sub box in your trunk...and that is quite a bit of added weight...that may have caused your springs to settle in the rear quicker!

yes ur system is weighing down the trunk....a few things u can do to resove this.....

1. u could have gone with a set of springs like the neuspeed sports where its 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the rear...if u put a box in the trunk, the drop should be pretty even

2. get coilovers

3. get rid of the box

4. or just deal with it

My car did that with eibach sportlines... All I did was cut 1 1/2 in. from the end of the coil and it evened it up. Looks good now

what kind of springs do you have? i'm guessing some cheap ones. its most likely a combination or that, your system, and it's a 4 door.

Thanks to all that have helped me out. I have actually taken the box out of my car and it still stis lower in the back than the rear, but who knows I guess I will just have to deal with it, or just cut the springs or get new ones. Thanks for all the help.

I have a '02 civic EX too. It did the same exact thing as yours did. I put 2" all around. I have studied it time and time again. My guess is that the rear wheel well is not cut as deep as the front one. I dont like it either. I think I am going to get some different springs. Ones that are shorter in the front than in the rear. It just really blows that I wasted that money on some 2" all the way around.

If you're planning to get shocks, go with konis and they will also correct the problem with having your rear lower than your front. That's what I did. The konis in the rear can either raise or lower your car another 0.5 incles.
