It makes it really easy if you take of the door panel...Then there are three bolts in a triangle pattern...yeah...take those out and disconnect any wires...you can get Power m3 Signals off of eBay for 150.00...that's what i did....i had the same problem you do...there's a diy for taking off the door panel here!

I just removed the tweeter on the passenger side, and the bolts were nestled behind the door panel, so i took it off when i did the driver side...a lot less hassle...just don't break the panel like pseudochrist....good luck

Yeah, all you do is remove the tweeter panel in an EX, or that little triangular piece of plastic in all other models on the inside of the car near the mirrors. Just pull and it'll come off. Be somewhat gentle though. Then you'll see some bolts. Roll down your window and hold the mirror from the outside while you unbolt it from the inside. I think the plug for power mirrors terminates near that triangular piece of plastic, so un-hooking it and hooking up the new plug will be easy. If not, then you'll have to remove the whole door panel to access the terminating point of the wire harness. I think they're plug and plug type connectors like the speakers have. If not, then you'll need to get busy with the wiring. Anyway, just spewing out what I know...
