Check engine light
Alright, so im going to work, BAM! THe check engine light comes on... No noticeble difference in the way the car runs, nothing. Hook the obdII up to it, gives me a........ P0420 code saying Catalyst System Efficieny below threshold (bank1)... Does anyone have any clue to what that means? lemme know...thanks alot!

I ended up just getting a new cat, everything went away.

Hey thanks alot for the input guys.... i found a site that gave a detailed describition of what p0420 meant, could be a number of things... themostat could be bad, 02 senors, leaky exhaust, bad cat... just gonna get the new dc race header and new 02 sensors w/defouler... thanks...
