Hi, quick question
Hi, I was sick of bumpy ride(stock shock+eibach lowering springs) and just installed the tein basic coilover. I thought I dropped the same height front and rear but rear seems way lower than the front. Is it normal? What's the best way to adjust it evenly? Also, I didn't do the alignment yet cuz lotta thread says it changes again after a week or so.... how do I deal with the alignment then? Is there any more stuff that I need to keep in mind after installing them?? Thank you!!
Re: Hi, quick question
its because stock shocks in the rear on the coupe are longer than the fronts, and even though u used drop springs, the rear sits higher, with coilovers, to avoid rear sag u have to adjust them slightly higher than the front to get a higher rear end(seems obvious), its just the way the coupes sit, dont ask me why, but coilovers are designed to level out the cord
Re: Hi, quick question
well i know even on my 06 civic, after the Prokit was installed correctly there still is a slight rake on the rear, this is why im thinking on Tein 1.5" for the rears and keep my 1" Prokit up front.

Re: Hi, quick question
yup thats the whole good thing about the setup. you can adjust them to be even on both ends. just have them bring the rear up a bit.

Re: Hi, quick question
I'm serious...you can cut dead coils on some aftermarket springs. Coils use linear springs so there are no dead coils. But often aftermarket springs have dead coils that don't do anything. Neuspeed actually recommends it on some of their applications.

Re: Hi, quick question
you shouldn't be driving long distances without a proper alignment, it will eat your tires. a quick daily commute should be fine.
