Rear passenger side tire rubbing...
My car is dropped, and has been for years that I had it. I am having this problem with my passenger side rear tire rubbing on the inside of the fender. The first set of aftermarket springs I ever put on my car were Eibach springs. After 2 years of having those, I needed to get new shocks, so I bought Tokico shocks and struts. After that, I needed to replace the springs after another year, so I put on Neuspeed racing springs, and that is where the problem started last year. I cannot put anyone in the back seat because that side rubs. Both sides rubbed at one time, but I had someone else look at the suspension different from the person who installed it, and he said it was put on wrong. He then put them on right because they were pinched in the back, and the driver's side rear was fine. I then recently changed the rear shocks because I was told I needed to change them to make the car alittle higher in the back so it wouldn't rub anymore, so I put Koni yellows shocks with h&r's springs in the rear now, and the same rubbing on the pasenger rear side and that side is lower then the other one, Now I need to know what else it could be. I have spent so much money on the suspension and still the same problem. It rubs only when I make a left turn, or when I drive over a small hill or hit a small pothole or have someone in the backseat etc. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear passenger side tire rubbing...
you gotta roll ur fenders, the fender drops in toward the tire, either that or you can have an allignment shop set your camber a little further negative, which will mess up your tires quicker, which will cost u more in the long run, i just used a rubber mallet, which was not the best idea, however, you can get a fender roller from a parts store(rented of course) or use a baseball bat, just push and put enough pressure to move the fender out away from the tire. I had this problem as well

I jacked up my car and look under and found out that my tire was rubbing like toward the middle/side here a pic....

oh, ouch, that looks bad, how long has it been since u replaced ur rear struts, could be blown, or could be a control arm problem, but i doubt it

I has my struts put on November of 2006. When I took my car for a oil change they told me I need a lower control arm could that be it?

Re: Rear passenger side tire rubbing...
No I'm on the 05 ex stocks using 195/60/15 with koni shocks and h&r springs.
Re: Rear passenger side tire rubbing...
I put on 18s with Tein springs and started rubbing with people in the back on small bumps. But mine was rubbing on the outer edge because the tires are 215 and are too wide for the fender. But all I did was get an alignment and it's perfect, hasn't rubbed since. If you're rubbing on the inside of the fender, just get spacers to move your wheel out.
