to purge or not to purge
to purge or not to purge
Alright N2O people, I am going to get the purge kit, but where should I purge from? I am thinking about getting some Z3 fenders and purging the wasted Nitrous gases out of the z3 slits...would that be ga y or cool??? or where else could i purge from....
Purge to the solinoid! i keeps your solenoids cooler which is needed!! Gotta keep solenoids cool especially when your engine is hot! But actually i would waste the monety on a purge kit! You waste like 1.00-1.50 everytime you purge! And you only gain a very very small amount of milliseconds on the qarter mile! Not worth it just to look cool! Dakota
Hey i got an idea!! How bout just saving the money on the purge kit, and just throw 2 dollar bills out of the window everytime you feel the need to purge! Dakota

and i thought that purging is for safety to release the preassure that is left on your nitrous line. That is why I got my purge valve, I kind of do not like the idea of unhooking the line with 600psi right by my hand. I got it for safety reasons, and yes it does look cool when I purge

Purge Valves
The primary purpose of a purge valve is to release trapped air or gaseous nitrous from feed line(s). Helps to ensure consistent performances. And it looks cool, too. You've probably seen the Pro Mod guys do it.
That was from NOS Nitrous website.
