DOnt ... If u have no clue ... which from the way u type looks like u dont :-) no offence though but pay a shop like $100 bucks and they will do em in like an hour ... While u might get stuck on a bolt or something if u dont have the right powertools. There is another topic where the guy got done with 3 of em ... and then got stuck on the very last one :-S so imagine him in your place and make a decision :-D

^ that guy is me, and my car has been over at my friends house since thursday kuz of one bolt that I stripped. Waiting on majestic to speed up their game. I drive my moms car to work and tell everyone I traded the civic in for a camry wagon.

Re: qUICK qUESTION
here's a good tip for doing your own suspension though..
be extremely careful when taking out the tie rod ends.. I used the hammer method and was stupid and hit the tie rod end directly causing me to strip the **** out of the tie rod end. If you use a hammer, put a block of wood in between
oh, and lowering spring was the first mod I did to my car. Me and my friend had absolutely no experience with suspension work and it took us 4 hours on a sloped driveway. I messed up my tie rod end when I swapped my Tokico Blues/Tein S Tech combo for Tein SS-P coilovers

Gotta hit the side of the tie rod end, not the bolt part. Pops right out. Just be careful on your aim so you don't smash the little rubber boot.
Re: qUICK qUESTION
Forget that, hitting the side of the tie rod bolt will mash up the threads too. The easiest way to do it is to remove the cotter pin and take the nut all the way down so it's half on and half off the end. Then smack the nut with a hammer until the tie rod bolt pops out. Then put the nut all the way back on and all the way back off to straighten out the threads again. Works perfect.

Re: qUICK qUESTION
Triz, isn't that what you did and it still spangled the threads beyond repair?
Anyway, I'm not talking about hitting the bolt, I'm talking about hitting the side of the top of the tie rod end. Did it to both sides on my Teins, came out with no problems or damage. Just like banging the LCA to take it off.
Yellow circle is where I hit mine with a plain steel hammer. Works every time and doesn't stress the threads. This way works for me, but there are eight ways to skin this cat.
