ok Im gonna finish my xbox/lcd screen install tomorrow...I got my inverter...it has a cig-lighter adaptor...my question is...can I hook up the inverter and leave the power switch on (on the inverter) and connect it to my ignition wire or ACC wire, or another wire so that it only comes one when the ignition is turned to 1 or 2 and leave the power switch on the inverter on all the time??? I know if I cant do this I will eventually forget it on...it has an auto shut off if the battery starts draining, but I dont want it to come to that...

obviously I would cut off the adaptor and hook up the power wire from that to whatever I need...

Yeah cut off the cig lighter adapter and wire up its + to the acc, then ground the -.
