Skunk2 Coilover & RSX Struts/shocks
I have a buddy who has an RSX with Skunk2 Coilovers (with stock RSX struts/shocks). He is getting Tein full coilovers so I was wondering if his old set up would fit my 2002 Civic sedan.
Anybody out there have this set up? (Skunk2 coilovers made for RSX plus Stock RSX Struts/shocks)
People have been saying that the RSX setup will make your car sit up higher, but I figure I can compensate that by lowering with the coilovers.
Any opinions on this setup would be appreciated.

The rsx skunk2's spring rate is probably stiffer but if they're anything like the ground controls, it might actually be better cause i found the gc's to be really soft.
As for the rsx shocks, you might have to do some mods in order for it to fit such as rsx tie rod ends(about $35 a peice) in order to get a correct alignment and also might need to shave the bottom rear part of the shock down 2mm or so.

Thanks for the reply VNlilMAN
So the end of the tie rod is threaded the same whether it is an RSX or a Civic. It just needs a new tie rod end because the civic tie rod end won't fit into the rsx shock assembly. right?
On the rear shock I would have to shave off a bit of the rubber bushing and metal that is holding the bushing in the bottom of the shock? In other words the bottom of the rear shock is a little too wide.
Are the RSX stock shock better than the civic ones? Comparable to tokico hp?
