damaged hayame coilover... still rideable?

this came off an 03 coupe after an accident @ 25-35mph ish.
this is the right-front hayame coilover. the photos are AFTER the fix and not before. the insurance shop repaired it so i dont know if their work is good or not. btw, i did purchase these off a seller on the forums, so my car is still in perfect condition currently on skunk2 coilovers. but my questions are:

1) are these still rideable?
2) what can i expect and not expect from this?
3) whats your opinion/thoughts/comments about this repaired coilover?

any help will do, im still deciding if i should or should not take the risk installing this in my car still so if you hayame pros out their can help a fellow 7thgener, i really appriceate it

Thanks,
Tommy

that doesn't look so good. Is it possible to purchase a single replacement?

The part that attaches to the tie rods does not look so good. What you can expect is improper steering from the looks of it.

My thoughts are you can sell it for parts (the spring) or junk it.

I don't think you should install it. Just talk to Mike (Urban Import). I'm sure he can get you a good deal for a new one.

Remove the shocks and sell them to someone who has Hayames for replacement(when their shocks leak).

LOL whew good thing you decided not to put them back on the car, i thought i would have to go crazy on you... yeah hopefully mike at urban can work something out for you. if not as gary said just sell them to someone who might want an extra set of shocks.

i just found out my other front hayame coilover has a problem..

where the tie-rod connects (the circle gap) theirs a small crack around the circle. its about 180 degrees around and like a 1mm crack gap. for sure its not the paint that cracked but also the weld itself.

this is NOT the front-left coilover, i just took the right one to try to describe it the best i can. but this is pretty much the same as the left one but the wrench lookalike thing pops out the other side.

im thinking about having hayame rears and skunk2 fronts as a temporary. as soon as i can get a hand on hayame front replacements, those will be in.
