Doesn't look like it'll do much unless all three mounts are replaced with something similiar to the damper. Besides, shouldn't need it unless you pushing some large numbers.
They are a nice alternative to polyurethane mounts. But since they don't make them for our car, and I didn't care to fabricate brackets, I just polurethaned my rear mount and its all good. Only difference is a PU mount will cause alot more vibration that the dampener will.

They make universal kits and sell them on ebay for 40 Bills.
I just don't know where to put it and how it sould be put on in relation to the motor.
In the front or on the back.

here are the sizes on ebay
172MM-186MM
or
305MM-319MM

I'll look in the engine bay when I get off work and see wher the hell I can attached to engine and body. If you figure something out post it. I'd rather bolt then weld to the frame.
If you get please do a DIY

ok if we're gonna mount this thing topside in the bay meanin on the top on the engine in view as opposed to under the engine.. i can only see ONE place on the engine to bolt it to. which is the driver side motor mount braket. as for mountin to the frame.. well we can either use one of the 3 bolts for the mount on that side or we're gonna HAVE to weld a plate on.

gotcha! I'll still look later and come up with some ideas and take some measurements so I know what MM damper to get.
We might have it!!!!!
We might have it!!!!!
I found a place that sells one made for our cars, D17 and all.
Go to jhpusa.com
I think they wanted like $100 for it but its adjustable and made really well. Adjusts so you cna make it soft and not get all the vibrations coming through when your jsut cruising around and then tighten things up when you need too. Although the $40 thing sounds cool too

well link me cause all i see is K , and B SERIES no D.
I called and talked to the guy there a while ago, he said they had one for the D. I'll call again tomorrow and double check, but I was real clear that I meant D and not B. I think the damper was made by J's racing or something like that.

The ones on the ep3 adn the dcs have the brace going perpidicular to the engine and the mount, meaning that the brace is, if your looking at your engine from the front, mounted parallel to the fenders. I think this makes the most sense in absorbing shock as the engine rocks front to back. Most on ebay have them mounted diagonally or horizontally.

sorry fellas I didn't have a chance to measure. I want a bolt on solution. I happy to see us working together to advance the 7thgen a little further.

does anybody have a good engine bay shoot of the driver side from above that section of the mount and driver strut mount area?
I can photochop this thing on the car to get an idea.
