220000 for a daily driver? thats a tad much, and no date has been set for it comming out either. It would be a pain to recharge on long trips though. Otherwise thats pretty pimp.

I hope that is the direction car companies will be taking with their cars. If we can get sportiness, utility and still not use much gas, I would buy it. Not for 220k though. Hopefully once they start becoming mass produced prices will drop significantly.
I sure wish my car was newer

Here's a question for the car companies: Do the most efficient cars have to also be the ugliest? Is it a rule?
The Honda Insight and that Toyota "thing" come to mind. I'm not against having a super-efficient car, but the cars they give us are the most awful looking cars ever.

You know, even though it's ugly, I would seriously drive a Honda Insight. That thing gets 70/61 mpg. Now-a-days when pricing of gas is pretty much 2 bucks in california, I would not give one flying **** about driving an ugly car if it meant having to visit the gasstation 3x less than I already do with a pretty damn efficient (in comparison to the same class of most other makes) civic ex. Just imagine how much that would rule, to be able to keep your civic as a project car and an insight as a daily driver- You'd have enough money from not buying gas to be able to buy parts for your civic. beautiful. <dreams>
