Rep Power: 0 On page 22 of automobile mag. they have an artical for the tokyo show preview, 2001. It talks about two honda concepts one is the unibox and the dual note.
this is what it says about the dual note:
The dual note is a fourdoor, mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive sportster that builds on the hybrid formula of honda's insight coupe. For theis concept, honda has employed a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 tearned with integrated motor assist. Depending on driving conditions, a pair of electric motors on the front wheels can kick in to make the car four-wheel drive. In what is perhaps a signal that honda is about to bust through japan's self-imposed 176-horsepower limit, the dual note puts out 400 horsepower while returning 51 mpg.
the car is kinda sleek looking too, I wouldn't mind haveing it, but it is just a concept.

Rep Power: 0 hmmmm...it looks nice, but i bet they put a cold-fusion powerplant in the car, that way when they say 51mpg (since the materials for cold-fusion would not be mesured in gallons) they are correct...maybe it uses 1 gallon of coolant for every 51 miles?? Rep Power: 0 Here you go:
Horsepower: 402 bhp
0-60mph: 4.5 secs (est)
Top Speed: 190 mph/306 km/h
Engine: 3.5 litre/V6 + electric motor
The Dual Note breaks the mould for supercars, it is a car born out of a fusion of contradictory values. This concept is manifested throughout the vehicle, from its powerplant, right through to its packaging and design. The Dual Note is the world's first twin-engined hybrid performance coupé, offering 190mph top speed and an incredible 50mpg.
Using an advanced version of the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system first seen on the Insight, the Dual Note uses two engines. One is a rear-wheel-drive 3.5-litre V6 i-VTEC petrol unit developed from the current NSX, the other an electric motor driving the front wheels. By switching the drive bet-ween the two depending on conditions, the car can achieve hatchback-rivalling fuel consumption.
Both engines running together produce an awesome 402bhp and 4WD traction. Despite this, the Dual Note is practical. It's a full four-seater four-door, although the interior is as futuristic as the powertrain, with the cockpit featuring interactive voice recognition and infrared night vision cameras.
