after talkin to my friend about making my decision of either goin motor swap or turbo he says to go swap but the problem would b that i would have a hard time when it comes to inspection. Is that true? has anyone that has done a motor swap have problems passing inspections?
if this is in the wrong section plz move and if this has been covered plz dont flame cause i have done a search but searching isnt something im good at at this site. so plz link me to a thread that has covered this. TIA

the only problem i can think of would be if you get an engine thats older than the car. Example: 03 Vic, and K20A2 from a 02 Type S.

i THINK there was a thread on this but im not too sure.

from what i can think off the top of my head:
-the motor cannot be older than the vehicle frame/chassis
-it must be a U.S produced motor
-need all paperwork (reciept, dmv papers, etc)


im sure all states got it different?
