Well, tonight it finally happened, got pulled over for the first time. It all started like a pretty good night, a bucha friends and I all went to the local car show and when we were leaving, there was a cop sitting on the side of the road, so I pass him on our way to Sonic just about a block down, then I see him start comming up and flip the lights on, so I noticed we were almost to Sonic and didnt think it woulda been for me because I wasnt speeding or anything, so I pull in behind my friend in the turning lane, and my other friend is behind me in his Eclipse and then the cop pulls in, so we all go into Sonic and I get to the back and the back and stop and the cop stops and gets out and tells me my license plate lights arent legal because they are red. I've been going around since April with them red and this cop wants to stop me for that as people are speeding and racing past out of the car show parking lot. Well, of all nights, it had to be the night I had this girl I like with me, and who is laughing at me for trying to kiss @$$ towards this cop because I'm trying to avoid a ticket, so I pull a "oh, well this officer told me this and that it was OK" routine, so he started askin me how I knew him etc etc. and ended up only giving me a warning, but alot of humiliation came from that because all the girls working inside Sonic all came out when I parked by my friends afterwards and asked me what I did. Wish it at least would have been something major to rag about, but no, I got pulled over for some red lights, which I doubt I'm going to change LOL. Anywayz, I just got home and thought I'd tell ya'll bout that lil expeirince, its long, I know, but I'm still kinda mad about it...Oh well...

i went around with a exaust which i swear was 120 db and it took about a year befor i got stopped so i put on a resonator, it still is freaking loud...

just change the lights man and get some Hipe whites or something ...no need for a ticket!! next time you might not be so lucky!! jus sayin!!

i gave up sucking up to a cop like 5 tickets ago, i just take the ticket from him and tell him ill see him in court lol.

Well, I went and got some Hyper White bulbs in there now, i actually think it looks better too on the white paint at night. The cop was cool aboiut it last night and everything, and he stopped me again tonight on my way home from work and thanked me for changing them. I thought I was in trouble for something else LOL. But while I was at it, I asked him about the whole "license plate cover" law thing they have in Texas now and asked him if my smoked cover was legal or not and he said as long as I keep it clean and the plate can be seen from 50 ft., it perfectly fine. So as of right now, only thing illegal on my car would be my tint, which I bought the car and when they inspected it, the guy was cool about it and just told me if I get pulled over to tell the cop I just had it done, but I roll around with the windows down like 99.9% of the time anywayz, so no big deal.
