i got a ticket back on august 31st for a california roll, on the ticket it saids i have a court date on oct 27, but i still havent got my court paper and fine amount that was supposed to be sent to me in september. I called the court and they say they still havent processed the ticket. Is there a certain amount of days that they have to process the ticket in or it gets dropped?

i had the same question about my parking ticket. 275 bucks parking in damn handicap in the middle of night!
anyways i called them on it cause they never sent me anything in the mail either. one lady said i didnt have to pay until i get something in the mail. then i called a couple days later another person said that i have to pay before two weeks are up or id have to pay bigger fees. so i was scared and i sent the check in.
bastards. i never got anything in the mail either.

it wont get dropped because they wait so long to send you the fine amount. they will usually wait until last minute, and probably they are understaffed and back logged so stuff like that will take awhile.

wont be dropped, just explain the situation to the judge when you go to court. They are prolly slammed at the court with tickets.
