I have an 02 civic coupe ex i had a blinking D light i got code 0758 solenoid b electrical or faulty but then out of no where it stoped blinkin n driving fine now when i put it in gear i have to shut it back off cuz it didnt grab anythen wen i turn it back on n put it in either d d3 2 it doesnt grab immediately i have to stay on the brakes til i feel alil shimmy shake of the car feeling like the transmission grabing the gear n makes the car trebble just alil bit just for me to feel then i kno i can pull off but as i continue once i stop at a red light or stop sign it lets the gear go n im only revving the engine at this point omg plz dont tell me i need a new transmission

What are the fluid levels like? When was the last time you did an ATF change?

The fluid smells fine n is a pinkish redish color n ive never done a atf

You still didn't say what the levels are like. If you have low fluid, your transmission won't function properly.

Since you've never done a change though, I echo emich, start with an ATF change. Not sure if that model has a filter or not, if it does, change that as well.

Its seemed to have to much atf so i replaced n took some out n i just put the solenoid on n still no movement omg im pissed

This morning i turned on the car n engine still cold i put it in D n my car moved..... But i only moved it about 20 feet forward then put back on park i will try again in a few to see wat happens
