I own a '98 Honda Civic and I was wondering is you are able to put a manual engine with an automatic transmisson

As far as the basic engine block and head is concerned, I think the main difference will be swapping the flywheel and pilot bearing with the flexplate from the old engine.

The manifold(s) you should just plan on swapping from the old engine anyway. Throttle body and IAC, electronics are probably different enough to need swapped.
