hehehehe
thanks for the bday wishes.
I just turned 23. Two more years and the insurance will go down! woohoo! hehehe
ok, I talked to a girl at union auto parts. she says that she has NO acura EL's, and NO honda civics. She said that the import/domestics are split up into seperate junkyards (no mixing).
Does anyone know which junkyard the imports lay to rest in?

Union does have both imports and domestic. They are split in the lot, imports on one side, domestic on the other, and trucks and stuff in another area. You can usually go back and walk around, looking for stuff. THey are pretty good that way. Most of the stuff back there is older and picked clean. The better stuff is pretty much hands off. There is a decent scrap yard in Arnprior. Your not aloud to look around, but last time I was there it looked like they had a great selection of cars. He had 3 new civics there. Can't remeber the name of the place, but it had Arprior in the name.

hrm...odd.
I was talking to the girl at union, and she said they have no hondas (let alone civics), and no acura's.
alright, I'll keep shopping around. There's a plethora of choices in the yellow pages...don't know where to start!
(Arnprior is a little too far...I want to hit up a bunch of yards on the weekend).
But, I've heard that the arnprior lot is pretty good. anyone live near there?
hehehe

actually, I was looking for a couple of things.
first, the brakes off of the EL.
second, a T25 size turbo off of an old junker. I can peice together a little turbo kit, run about 5lbs of boost, and make about 150 horse to the wheels.
all on a safe amount of boost, and intercooled
I think I'm going to start calling up all the wreckers around here to see who's got some totalled EL's. I was lazy and emailing people...but people actually answer questions when you call, so that might be a better alternative.

Baller: yup...but I've come across other priorities (brakes, and turbo)

if I go the custom turbo route, I won't need the header/cat at all, I'll just stuff in a manifold, and bolt the turbo where the cat used to be
hehehe
but first, I'm pretty sure I'll be doing brakes. no point in going fast, if you can't slow down

second thing, tek try to check out acura forums, there is always stock stuff for sale on those sites

Tek: Here's a tip...Wash the car Thursday if it's nice then Friday it may only need a dust or something simple...lol.
I'm also cool with meeting earlier for photo ops so we need to find a place quick I guess.
I know that it's kinda far away, but I always wanted to do something like this in front of the Corel Center...
