G Test Tomorrow
hey guys, long time no talk... well, tomorrow could be the final step in my quest for the license... lol... i'm going for my G test tomorrow at canotek road for 10:25 am... actually got the same jitters i had going in for my G2 with the G... any tips and tricks for the G... i assume it'd be basically all highway stuff... hope it's not too busy either... length of the test??? same as G2, shorter??? longer???
Dont go over the speed limit it is soooo easy the test is 45 min long just rmember your emergency stop and parking on a hill witch way to point the tires and you will be fine rember the merging lanes and stay in the right most lane on the highway...

Don't go through any Yellow lights ... even if you'd normally go through without the instructor there. Better to stop, even hard stop instead of giong through ... Thats what my instructor said after I passed mine.
Like Pierre said .. no speeding at any time. Signal way way way way in advance before turning. Like right when the instructor says to go left ... leave like 1 or 2 secs and then put your signal on .. I got docked marks for that.
When goign on the highway, use alot of the merging lane. Your supposed to be at or very close to 100km before you merge. Merging to early with little speed makes you lose marks aswell.
Good luck ... and get your *** out on fridays.

If you know your stuff, and obey the law, you shouldnt have any trouble, especially when there is expected to be like 30-40cm of snow on the ground from this evening to tomorrow evening. That should help alot, lol. Trust me, I did mines in the same snow condition in a RWD van at Walkley. And a tip for the yellow light tomorrow, if there is snow on the ground, and you think your gonna slide if you slam on the brakes, just forget about the brakes and go throught it.
