Rep Power: 0 Jaysun - With that much HP, would a 6 speed offer much advantage over a 5spd?
The swap HAsport did was a K24 in an integra and that was without the K20 head. Supercharged, it put down around 260HP(this car was made for the time attack). With the K20 head, they're figuring it'll be in the 400HP range.

Rep Power: 344 Forgive my noobiness, but how come you wouldn't be able to use a 6-speed tranny on a K24+K20A head swap? TSX has a 6-speed tranny, as does DC-5S and DC-5R....if you were to pop in a CRV block, then I dunno...but....oh damn now i have a headache.

Rep Power: 0 I have the article in front of me detailing what was done to their project Integra... I think you have the cars mixed up. Also, the 260HP was done for reliability and with the stock K24 head.

Rep Power: 344 I saw a wrecked TSX on some junkyard website (local to Toronto) and the engine assembly was $2100 with tranny. Yum. I'd still need the K20A head cause of the throttle incompatibility between the EL and TSX, but $2100 for the engine is not too shabby no?
What the hell am I doing posting in Canada West anyway?

Rep Power: 0 Seems like HAsport is putting the swap in a couple of their project cars.

Their EF also has the setup.

It's a K24 from an accord running 11psi untuned.
As for the magazine I am referring to: Super Street August Edition.
