NX or NOS ?

Im buying a nitrous kit this weekend and have decided that it will be a wet kit, Which kit would you reccomend the NX kit or the NOS brand kit. I plan on runnin a 50 shot. Does anybody on this site have the NOS kit, all ive seen or read about on here are the NX kits.

For NOS make sure you have the window kit. I'd look into the new Zex wet kit.

id go with zex for the ease of use. instead of pushing a button, u flip on the switch and when ur at full throttle, the nos engages. i read up a lot of stuff about nitrous oxide and was sseriouis about getting it until my clutch fried....
not i baby my car....haha btw, ur gona have to get an aftermarket clutch when you're spraying, stock clutch wont last. and ACT does make a clutch.

my car

the NX kit is the same as that zex, it sprays at wide open throttle. i would look into the "stage 1" no engine mods needed when using up to a 50shot, which i guess you are. i would still get a new fuel rail, pump/regualtor, and some colder spark plugs. but if installing it yourself i heard that zex is the easiest.

Wow this thread couldnt be more wrong.
Sorry.

Theres really no choice here people, wet is what we MUST do considering we have a returnless fuel line.
NX is NOT the same as ZEX. Zex does spray WOT.
We do NOT have an aftermarket fuel rail and we do NOT need one for nitrous. NX stage one's jets are as low as 35shots which you prolly should get a fuel regulator NGK plugs and a new clutch wouldnt hurt.
VRoomPSHeRt, you say you read about nitrous but it seems like you forgot some major parts other than you flip the switch. BTW- you got a really clean car, I like it.

WET KIT!!!! NOS system... i'd rather have a button to push then rely on a computer to determine whether i'm at WOT or not.. I would know better just by.. well you get the idea..

Zex is a dry set up... that I DO NOT want. I want a wet setup and have narrowed my choices to the NX stage 1 package , or the NOS universal 4 cylinder WET setup. With 6K on the car the clutch will probably be the next mod and might even be installed before I spray. Back to the question, Which kit would you reccomend " NX or NOS"? I know on the old site I saw some members had the NOS setup, if they could put some imput into this thread that would be great.

NX or NOS

There is a magazine called TPR and in the first issue it talks about all the different Nitrous Kits in detail. I got mine at Ekerds I posted something about this mag in the TECH formums because it also talks abput all the different CAI and SRI's and shows dyno testing. You can go to the websight but it will only talk about the intakes on the websight. The mag goes into great deal off explination about all the different Nitrous system and easy they are to hook up. Which does what to the car and things of that nature. Check it out if you get a chance. I am sure that it will answer alot of your questions.

Holly crap, I thought I knew stuff about cars, but this threat takes it to new hights. Reading this was like watching My Classic Carage where those guys drop an new engine, trany and a turbo all in 30 minutes. One day maybe I'll have time to read up on this so I can at least understand it, then maybe go all out an buy it (and made a fool of myself trying to race that focus wagon lol).

You should really consider the Venom kit. Either the VCN 1000 or the VCN 2000 ( I have this one). They have come along way with the technology associated with a controller kit.
