wow a lot of info ive been wondering about!
any other info on tuning? like closed loop, map sensors, etc... all stuff ive seen but never understood.

Sorry, with tuning, its way too broad a topic to try and explain in a post. There are manuals that are very long and don't cover it all.

What does it take to put in a wideband?
Installation varies on model, but typically, you connect a positive 12V ignition source for power and a ground. There are two outputs, one for a wideband signal, another for a narrowband signal. These connect to the ecu or piggyback computer that you're using for datalogging, monitoring, etc.

Stock ECU, yes. This is why they have narrowband outputs. You replace your signal wire at the ecu and run the wideband in place of the stock narrowband with resistors and wire the narrowband signal wire back into the ecu while maintaining a display and using the wideband output for datalogging, etc.

The PLX can substitue the NB sensor but it was much easier for me to just weld in a 3rd bung and not worry about it

I agree. I tried to wire in the narrowband wire and use the wideband in place a long time ago when I was running a stock ecu and I never managed to get rid of the CEL for the primary sensor. Not to say it can't or hasn't been done but its a PITA.

Does anyone have the o2 voltage operating band for the 7th gen?
...Also, on additional note... anytime when I have ignition on my AM radio starts to interfere, it was OK before I installed my AEM wideband.
Has anything like this happened to you?
