I just installed my turbo on my 04 civic... i start up the car and the turbo spins and when i hit the the gas it stops... its stops spining when the oil pressur reachs 50 psi. after i turn the motor and spin the turbo by hand it starts to spin fine...... Do i have to much oil pressure.... Do i need an oil pressure reducer... where can i get one.

did you let the motor warm up first? mine doesnt spin all that great until it is warmed up. remember...oil is thicker when its cold. so it might not have gotten to all of the bearings yet....but it might have its just thick and being difficult. let the car warm up completely and then see what happens.... what size turbo?

and as for a reducer....its actually called a restrictor and the best one i seen is function7 ones. you can find them on Ebay. just search Function 7

i know your not gunna believe this but if you stick your fingers in there with the motor running, its gunna chop your fingers off! lol..... seen it on a video someone getting thier hand sucked in!!

yeah, you need a restrictor if you value the turbo's seals.
