hks bov??

hey guys thoses bov on ebay that say hks sytle do they work the same as the real hks bov? what is the difference? any difference or there just a knock off vserion that works like it. soo the real hks you would just be paying for the name?

well the difference is if you trust the guts to work. The HKS one is gonna work. The fake one... who knows. If you value your turbo.... i'd put something on there you know is gonna work. Think of it this way... buy the real one for $200, or buy the fake one for 100 and replace the turbo when the valve doesn't open. Want a cheap BOV... get a Bosch valve they're about 35 bucks and they're OE parts.

my friend bought one, it never worked. He came over was like install this, i said ok, we put it on his gsx, we drive vroooom pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It would stay open. The valve would never close and it would leak the boost out. It was retarded. He ended up buying the real one so thats what i would go with.

I don't have any experience with BOVs, but it seems like every other no-name part on eBay, meaning you get what you pay for, and nothing more.

did he try adjusting it? thats what that long screw is for...maybe the knockoff didnt have it...buy the real thing...i have one
