defective emanage? weird problems, need help.

BoostedVik is an unknown quantity at this point

if its on one block and time is till ticking , thats cuz its still loading, mine took 2 hours to load the firmware, better hook your laptop to charge so ur battery doesnt die!

but the interaction led isnt on let it run for more than a hal hour any their
wasnt any progress.
I was wondering is the software working correct in win Xp.the manual says
95-98 or 2000.

btw wen installing software why the hell does it ask for a serial.??
i also tried a radom combo and still instals..

The serial to USB connector needs to be used.

2 hours!!! It should take no more than 3-4 mins.

Hmmm. Check to make sure the port does not become inactive after some idle time or something like that..........

how do ya see if the port get inactive,because i got the emanage hookup to
a 12v power source nu my car wanted re erase the boosted map.
But the software keep saying online and the E is green, wen i disconect the
cable it goes ofline so that looks fine too.

well i used windows vista beta... so i dont know, but it took 2+ hours to load the firmware and then after that everything loads faster as far importing or exporting, and i was using belkin usb to serial so that might have something to do with it, but it work great

If you can update your firmware in vista it should go in every win normally.
I went to a guy at work today,he has a pc shop and wil order my a usb-serial
connector.That about the only thing i didnt try..... if its not working then ill
post pics up of my greddy demolition.

Gonna go this weekend to a friend his shop he has installed the emange so
will be checking it there. lets hope

@boostedvic you got any dyno results? post them up.
