AT --> MT swap

Alright,

I've searched and searched and I can't find this information on the forum. I need to switch my transmission to a manual, and I need to know a couple things.

Does anyone have a list of ALL the parts that are needed and a possible place to buy them?

As my username says, I have an 04LX coupe. The auto tranny just isn't working for me, and I wish I would have bought a MT, but I didn't. Now I have too much money invested in the car to buy a manual and scrap this one.

I've been trying to find out exactly what is needed and where I can buy the parts. Thanks a lot.

Zach

So would it just be better to get these two things and call it a day:

http://www.levelten.com/store/import...shiftronic.htm
http://www.levelten.com/store/import...cord_civic.htm

The shiftronic and PTS TORQUE CONVERTER SERVICE STALL 3200-3400?

So that would be a total of about $1000. Is that all I would need?

Level ten is nice but I had my tranny rebuilt using the TCI auto master overhaul kit and the torque converter plus stage 2 cv half shafts from Drive Shaft shop. that was 1700 for eveything plus labor etc... and me running 12 psi with the TSI T25bb kit

I really want to be able to shift it though, and not have it do it for me. I hate when my AT chooses to shift. When I'm in first, it thinks that 5200 rpm is the point at which it should go to second. That is just not cool; I just start getting true boost there. That's why I thought about either an AT --> MT swap or the shiftronic from LVL10.

not true because my tranny was built with the TCI kit and all it shifts faster than most people can a manual under hard boost. I've handed a RSX-s his *** in a auto so a tiptronic controller is not always needed

Mine will let me red line and i have an 04 ex coupe auto if i floor it, but if i dont floor it will shift as low as 2500 in the first couple of gears
so maybe ur not pushing the peddal down all the way or maybe something is stuck behind the pedal so u cant pust it down
