Just a wild guess:
Are you sure you have SF kit?
......
Have you got the link to the thread of where you bought it?
It may have pics of the part and may be if we see them, may be we will help you better.
Also read DIY for SF, components of any kit are more or less the same, just try to understand the concept, it will be easier for you then.
.....
Before you try to understand anything, answer my q's first, so we can think with you as well.

they did change to a different fuel pump the last 20 or so they sent out they changed a few things. he does have the sf kit but it was made "better" or so sf said.

the faq should work the same thow for that fuel pump at least it did with mine. just remeber that you need to take stock fuel pump pressure before and then tighten or loosen the screw on the fms to return it to stock presure at idle.

how long has anyone reliably ran a FMU like sf's? do you just drive the car a little easier or can you ruin your engine at anytime with it?

19 months and over 20,000 miles at 8-10 psi for me on a completely stock motor with no problems at all.

i guess i could have shaved down the manifold or the power steering pump but i'll just see how it is and if i dont like it i'll shave it down and re install it....its on a solo belt off the crank so its robbing all kinds of power too.
