Question Getting So Pissed Off

I just built a brand new d17 , boosted it with every accessory possible, and now its running bad, i put it on the computer and come to find out there is a short, question is where....im going to pull out every sensor and check to see if there is a wire toching or wire thats loose, im almost there 99.8 percent complete with one badass build and now of course this **** happens, everything went so smooth anyone have any ideas of where else it might be shorting out that causing my revving of my engine to fluctuate. and my idle???

MAP sensor. If it is not reading right, the ECU will go into limp mode and the idle will be very low and jump up and down.

exactly. How do you know there is a short? You need to hook a OBDII scanner and see what code you get.

HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR ECU WITH A OBD II SCANNER? You keep saying you hooked up your computer and you have a short, so I am assuming you hooked one up, but the way you keep talking doesnt sound like you did. Sounds like you dont have a short, sounds like you have a bad part, or you installed something wrong when hooking everything back up. DOnt keep throwing parts at your car, find the cause. Start with running a scanner to the ECU and see if you come up with a code. Most likely you will. If you dont, retrace your install steps. If that comes out fine, think about how your engine works, and start checking stuff that has to do with the problem.
