Turbo Installation Prices?
How much would a mechanic charge to install a turbo on a 2001 civic ex? Would anyone be willing to do the install for money? I live near Detroit, Michigan. Thanks guys
depends any where from 100 bucks to 2 grand
cheepest would be to pay friend 100 bucks then if you know guys at a shop probably arond 500 and so on. i payed a low price due to i had most of it installed allready.

well the mechanic has to see the kit and see how hard it is to put on. If he sees its hard then you will get charged a lot and same if its easy. Also depends how trustworthy your mechanic is. my mechanic told me from 300 to 600.
Subarus FTW I do NOT miss my civic

i have a couple that would do it for free for me. But me only. And they are actual mechanics. One works at midas, but is freakin smart. And the other owns his own shop. He putmy springs/shocks on for free
if you have friends that have worked with turbos before pay them some and then take it to a shop to tune...
in my case my friend was so in love with turbos he had his own wideband o2 sensor and we tuned the car ourselves...as in my old car, not the civic
