Greddy Turbo Timer *Problem fixed*
i am having a little trouble trying to get the correct speed in km/h to display on my TT. i downloaded the english instruction from greddy's webpage, but i still cannot figure it out. i did the whole set thing where you do the 40 km/h run and press T to set it, but it didnt work. there are two different set speed things i believe because when you do one, the screen lights up red and the other lights up blue. i tried both. i have the purple wire ran to the pin 18 of connector A on the ECU harness for the speed sensor. the speed just jumps all the *** over when i am in speed mode. does anyone know what to do?
on a side note, here are some pics of the install

dammit. now the turbo timer part is acting up on me. i had it workin for a while, then when i started messing with it to try to get the speed workin, the TT wont work now. the car just shuts off. what do you guys have your setting at the "Ig" or "Acc"? also, is there a way i could just reset the whole TT to get it back to factory settings? thanks.

well i got the speed and rpm to work on the setting of Ig on the screen and back of the unit, but the problem i have is that the only time the turbo timer function itself works is if i just turn the car on, then turn it off. then the turbo timer will come into play. it isnt working at all if i start going and then turn the car off a couple minutes later. the car will just turn off without any help from the turbo timer. does anyone know what the problem is or what i could so to fix it? i woudl greatly appreciate it. thanks.

ok i think i figured out the problem. the Greddy Turbo timer has a safety function involved with the speed sensor. if it senses that the car is moving, it will shut the car off. well, my problem was i couldnt get the speed sensor to work properly and the TT kept reading it at improper speeds and even when i was going 0 it said the car wasstill going. so i think i solved the problem by disconnecting the purple wire from the speed sensor.

very easy to use. the only thing i had trouble understanding was how you switch modes because it kept saying to press P+T or P+S or something liek that and i was doing them at the same time. what you really have to do is hold down the P button and press the T button to change main modes, and the S to change submodes

yes it does. some thing to remember though are to put it in neutral if you have a 5-speed before you shut off because the car will keep running and if you leave it in gear and take your foot off the clutch, it will stall. also, you cannot lock your car untill it shuts off, so you have to wait for the turbo timer before you can leave your car.

The whole point of a TT, is to allow you to actually get out of your car and lock it and walk away, while the car is still running. Sounds like you have something screwy in your wiring.

you can lock it from the outside with a key. i dont have keyless entry, so i can lock it this way. i would assume you could do the same with keyless entry.
