d17 to built d17 engine swap question**??

This idea/question popped into my head earlier today: I'm currently trying to build a spare d17 and swap down the road. Now when it comes time to swap do i have to do anything special about the ignition key code like when you swap in a k or whatever by having to take it to a dealer. Something having to do with the immoblizer??

that's what i was thinking but i didn't know if the imobilizer was seperate from the ecu or not. Just good to double check

/\/\ yeah, but the local guy seem rather shady....

There's a member swapping with a k, and i've negociated with him about buying his stock motor (d17a2). Seems to be a done deal
