Charge Pipe

took it to Slick Motorsports today to get a new flange put on for the greddy type RS BOV i ordered from SLP and look at the great work they did

their welds

i needed to get it repowdercoated in the first place, so im just gonna drop it off at the shop next week for that

idk, im kinda likin the polished look so i might just polish the whole charge pipe and if i dont like how it turns out i will get it powdercoated gunmetal.

if you look closely, that is not a hole. all around the welds is the white burns from it. that spot you see if just where the white burn mark was wiped off.

Thats some glass-beaded alum pipe

All glassbeading is, is just a form of sandblast that usually is controlled in a cabinent..it's much finer than sand and safer as well (we use it to clean up gears for trannys and the sort)

Get the medium grade stuff!!!

BTW: The welds are 2nd to none...best quality this side of actual machine welds taht Iv'e seen...Emil's ****in amazing, and is well known around the Midatlantic/East Coast for his welding on dragsters and Dawes Race Porsches
