yeah his name is joedc5 on here.

no I wouldn't buy it. he didn't listen to me and other opinions on here (before he was turbo) and ran his 11.5 compression with 7 psi and turbo without engine management. blew it up.

I wouldnt buy it. More trouble than its worth. A piston could be poking out the side of the block that you cant see.

He contradicts himself. He says the pics are not recent....but the turbo is clearly in the pics. He said that the turbo was only on for 3 days. I smell BS?

with that compression and how "smart" he is, I wouldn't doubt that his turbo was only working for 3 days

lol yeah he posted awhile back and people should know what happens when u boost a high comp mtr with no tuning especially when he invested all that money

Yeah, no idea why someone that isn't VERY experienced with FI would turbo that motor with the compression it has....

He needs to first realize that a car with a BLOWN MOTOR will never go for $15,000. If it was all in working order, he might get $15,000. That vic is worth maybe $5,000. Of course he could have saved him some heartache and ran a 8.5:1 compression ratio.

He should have just bought a complete turbo kit for the k20, since they come with new pistons (correct????) I know Ive seen lots of places on the net that give you the lower compression pistons with the kit.

I'd buy it, but not for 15k. More like 5-6k if I had that kind of cash. Then I would just end up yanking the motor and turbo out of it. Rebuild it and drop it in my car. Then part out the rest.
