I think k20a2 is the way to go. If you plan on turboing that day you could probably eat a Ferrari for breakfast

Realistically speaking the k20a2 seems like a more reliable option, turbo seems so complicated. You got more compressed air comping which was cooled from an intercooler which was spooled from a turbo........and then you need a fuel management system bigger injectors........seems like it needs too much tuning.

If you get the k20a2 you'll have a lot of fun and have plenty of time to research a turbo.

Bolt ons will actually give gains on that engine and Hondata has a nice ECU for that engine as well. Holy crap! you can have some power in that light civic of yours!

For real! K20 swap all the way. Thats what i wanna put in my car, but i made the stupid decision of getting an automatic. So now im deciding whether to just wait a couple years and get a used RSX Type S or just wait 2 years and save up for a tranny/engine swap and convert my auto to a manual. Either way i'd be happy, but a K20 in an 04 civic would be rare and very unique...and well, i like to stick out in the crowd, so ya i'd really enjoy swapping that **** into my Vic.

what about boltons after a swap? Lets just say a catback for example. Would I have to get a custom catback? I am guessing a rsx catback won't fit.lol. I guess I'll have to ask people with k20 swaps....i guess Hawk might know.

d00d, when you swap the k20, you have to swap the tranny also from the k20.

I am just wondering if it's worth it on my auto 2001 ex coupe.
I was wondering what is a turbo kit/setup that can get me atleast 200 whp? t3/4 t25,t28? I want to run at a decent psi without blowing anything. I know the odds are against me. What kind of mods do I need to make the engine stronger?
I know I will need to make some tranny modifications and I need suggestions there also.I have a catback and a testpipe.I would also like to know the most boost and the most hp known for a boosted auto. I have searched, but I want to know what's best for me. EDUCATED opinions and advice are greatly appreciated. Thanks. - X
Get them to take the money that would be spent on buying a turbo, put it in a fund, and go to post secondary.
