The intank setup for the EP looks exactly the same as ours....if that's the case, the S2000 replacement pump wouldn't require such radical modification!

nice. would this be something do do besides a return conversion or would this work good witha fuel system like say the SF one?

No - do a return if you do this. This would be easier since it wouldn't require modification of the pump cage...

well, i already have the SF fuel system and that has a pump with it. so, would this provide any additional benefit to me?

I'm about to buy a pump and was wondering the same thing. What about swapping the whole pump/cage assembly from an SI or RSX?
I was also wondering what dictates our fuel pressure. I'm under the impression that there is some type of regulator in the tank. If the Type S pump and assembly are very similar to ours and the Type S stock fuel pressure is higher than ours, swapping them might be a cheap alternative for bumping up fuel pressure. Even if it's only 5 psi, that's something. If not, is there some way we might be able to modify the stock regulator?
I'm sure someone has already thought of this but.......

If you are going to go half the way, why not go the whole way? The walboro pump is high pressure AND high flow. The high pressure part works for turbo setups. If you didn't have a HP pump you could only flow 5 psi max or something....
Not sure exactly if it would work per situation, but doesn't Aeromotive offer a new FPR that you can use on applications with no return line??? I'll hafta look more into it, but if so I would assume that would save a ton of trouble with the fuel lines running back you'd think..

If there is an OEM parts solution to the fuel pressure problem, I would much rather go that way. Does anyone know what the stock fuel pressure of the Type S is? If we're swapping out their injectors, why not the rest of the system?

I know Barry Grant makes a pump/fpr specifically for returnless fuel systems but the combination of the two is just as much as a return conversion. I don't think you can adapt their FPR to work without their pump, though.
