Here's a small part I scaned from the book "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell (funny name), that may give you an awnser of what could be going wrong with your car, and some solutions...

i could have made the pics smaller but didn't do it cuz someoen might have trouble reading smaller fonts...

Some decent ideas, others are pretty generic ones. It's a good start in learning about FI, but only a start.....
